Somon Air take delivery of first Boeing 737-900ER with Sky Interior
Boeing has delivered the first Next-Generation 737-900ER with the new Boeing Sky Interior to Tajikistan-based Somon Air, making it the first Central Asian carrier to operate an airplane featuring the new Boeing innovative interior. The delivery is also the first direct purchase of a 737 Somon Air.
New Etihad codeshare with Vietnam Airlines
Etihad Airways has today announced a codeshare agreement with Vietnam Airlines.

Japan Airlines (JAL) and China Eastern Airlines have reached an agreement to greatly expand their codeshare partnership to include their entire Sino-Japan networks. Starting from the 8th October 2011, the airlines will place their respective flight designators “JL” and “MU” on every flight operated by the other, between cities in China and Japan.
