Boeing and ANA celebrate the first 787 Dreamliner delivery
Even the rain couldn’t dampen the celebrations today of the first 787 Dreamliner handover by Boeing to launch customer ANA during a ceremony adjacent to the factory where the new 787 aircraft was assembled. More than 500 employees representing the 787 program walked alongside the all-new jetliner to present it to ANA executives as a crowd of thousands looked on. Read more

All seems well with the Dreamliner as ANA and Boeing have finally signed the formal documents completing the contractual delivery of the first 787 Dreamliner. Celebrations to mark this historic milestone begin tomorrow in Everett with a delivery ceremony. The ANA 787 will then depart for Japan on Tuesday. Read more

Boeing launch customer Cargolux will take delivery of the first Boeing 747-8 Freighter on the 19th September at Paine Field in Everett, Washington. Cargolux will fly the aircraft away that morning and put the 747-8 Freighter into revenue service. Read more

ANA to celebrate delivery of Boeing 787 Dreamliner on 26th September
Boeing and ANA will celebrate delivery of the first 787 Dreamliner on the 26th September in Everett, Washington, after contractual delivery occurs on the 25th September. Events throughout the day on the 26th will commemorate delivery of this new Boeing model to its launch customer. Read more

Boeing and Air Lease Corporation (ALC) have finalised an order for 14 Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft, with options for four more, and five 777-300ER (extended range) aircraft. Boeing and GECAS finalise order for 747-8 Freighters and 777-300ER
Boeing and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, have finalised a firm order for two 747-8 Freighter and eight 777-300ER (extended range) aircraft.
The order marks the completion of an agreement originally announced during the Paris Air Show in June. Read more
New Boeing 747-8 Freighter completes certification flight testing
The new Boeing 747-8 Freighter successfully completed its certification flight test program on Tuesday, with two aircraft landing at Paine Field in Everett, Washington. Flight test aircraft RC522 completed testing of the flight management computer (FMC) and RC523 completed function & reliability (F&R) testing. Read more
