Etihad Airways and TAP Portugal sign codeshare deal
Etihad Airways and the national carrier of Portugal, TAP Portugal have signed a new codeshare agreement.
The deal offers Etihad Airways guests a wealth of new flight options to destinations in Portugal including Lisbon, Faro, Funchal (Madeira) and Porto. The new codeshare services went on sale on the 15th October. Read more
New Etihad codeshare with Vietnam Airlines
Etihad Airways has today announced a codeshare agreement with Vietnam Airlines.
The announcement takes the total of Etihad Airways codeshare partners to 33. Passengers on both airlines will be able to take advantage of the agreement from the 30th October 2011. Read more

Etihad makes two milestones at Manchester Airport
Etihad Airways has marked two significant milestones in Manchester, officially launching a new line maintenance facility and double-daily services to the city.
From today, Etihad operates 14 non-stop Manchester-Abu Dhabi return flights, with onward connections to more than 60 global destinations across the Etihad network. Read more
Etihad Crystal Cargo announces Almaty Freighter operation
Etihad Crystal Cargo, the air cargo division of Etihad Airways, has today announced a new dedicated freighter operation from Abu Dhabi to Almaty in Kazakhstan.
The service will commence operations on July 28, 2011, using the airline’s Airbus A330-200F freighter with a payload of 59 metric tonnes on the route. Read more
Etihad Crystal Cargo signs new freighter deal
Etihad Crystal Cargo has signed a multi-year contract extension with World Airways (part of Global Aviation Holdings) to provide two MD-11 cargo aircraft operating on scheduled routes to Europe, Asia and Africa.
Etihad Crystal Cargo is the fast growing cargo division of Etihad Airways. Read more
Etihad to launch more flights to China
Following on from the launch of the Chengdu route yesterday, Etihad Airways has announced today of further plans to expand its network in China with daily non-stop, return services between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai – subject to government approval.
The new flights, scheduled to commence on 1st March 2012, will make Shanghai the airline’s 70th global destination. Read more
Etihad Airways announce 69th destination - Chengdu China
Etihad Airways have today announced their 69th destination – Chengdu in southwest China. The airline will commence flights from 15th December 2011 – subject to government approval.
Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province will be connected to the airline’s hub and home base in Abu Dhabi by four non-stop return services per week. Read more
