Frankfurt Airport has busiest July ever
Airport Management Group Fraport welcomed 5,558,580 passengers at its Frankfurt Airport (FRA) home base – almost 300,000 more than the previous record month in July 2010. This represents a passenger increase of 5.2 percent year-on-year. Since the beginning of the year passenger traffic at FRA has grown by 7.8 percent. Airfreight tonnage also rose in July 2011 by 0.3 percent to 189,000 metric tons year-on-year. Read more
